Conventional Lab Testing
Virtually ANY blood lab testing that you require can be requested at
our clinic. Whether it's your routine yearly check up, or you would
like your thyroid, prostate, or iron levels check, simply request a
lab requisition form signed by our naturopathic doctor and take it to
our any of our laboratory sites for blood drawing and testing.
Our partners at MDS laboratories have many sites across southern Ontario and extended hours for your convenience.
Please note that doing blood tests that are conventionally free of charge to you through your medical doctor, are in fact not covered by OHIP when done through a naturopathic doctor. Therefore, consult your naturopathic doctor for a fee schedule for tests provided by MDS Laboratories. For many tests, like a prostate PSA test, there is an associated cost regardless of whether it is requisitioned by your MD or your naturopath.
